about the training camp
This training camp is a 6-week long program for emerging soccer players who may be considering playing competitive soccer. It is being offered in coordination with the Menomonie Area Soccer Association (MASA). This FREE training program is for girls at the U10, U11, and U12 age levels.
The coaches from the U10 co-ed team, Coach Jamison Patrick and Coach Travis Norby, with the help of a former academy-level player, and Division 1 soccer recruit, Mikayla Hughes, will train the players in the areas in which they will be evaluated during tryouts.
Culminating during the Week of June 10, players will be evaluated during MASA’s competitive soccer evaluation. This training camp is intended to give the participants the experience they need to be more likely to be prepared for tryout, increasing the potential of being selected to play competitive soccer for MASA for Fall 2019.
Feedback on areas of improvement will be given to all players, whether they are selected for Fall 2019, if they are interested in trying out again in the future.

about competitive (traveling) soccer
MASA supports both competitive and recreational soccer programs and is comprised of players from Menomonie and surrounding areas (Knapp, Elk Mound, etc.).
Games are played against other competitive soccer clubs, such as River Falls, Chippewa Falls, and Eau Claire. Players are chosen based on the existing pool of players and skill level. Competitive soccer is for those players who want to be further challenged beyond recreational soccer to be better soccer players.
